Will grandma and baby have to arm wrestle over who gets to use the Bambini? Its unique design truly makes it a family chair - a high chair for babies and toddlers, a rocking toy for kids and an adjustable height chair for older kids and adults.

The Bambini is the brainchild of late Japanese designer Toshimitsu Sasaki and embodies his functional yet sleek sensibility. The wood is maple with five color choices for the seat (red, white, blue, green, tea, and mud). It has a designer price tag of $449 and an additional $79 for the baby high chair seat. You can purchase it here.
What do you think? Are you over the convertible furniture concept yet?

it's cute but that price is ridiculous.

It's beautiful... but I'm with Hamro as far as the price goes. On the upside - the TripTrap now seems downright cheap. :)

I love this! I wish I found out about this chair a little sooner!
I looked at good-looking high chairs that have longevity as regular chairs/stools after the child grows out of them and looked at these Sirch High Chair Alfons and Rinki and decided on Rinki. It's also expensive, but then again everything is ridiculously expensive in London. :(

I love this design, and the versatility, but the reason I would want flexibility of function is to make it a more practical purchase. However, at that price, I will have a very difficult time considering it practical even with the flexibility.

Hmmm...I guess I'm the weirdo that thinks that this is kind of ugly. It's a good thing I hate it though because I could never afford that price.
I just bought an old wooden high chair at a flea market for a few bucks and painted it and it looks great in my kitchen. It may not be versatile, but it was cheap and I can resell it later.
