Would you like a diaper bag that can instantly transform into a booster seat?
It's an interesting idea, and actually comes from the same designer as the Baby Art 3D Hands and Feet we noted a couple of weeks ago.
Those hands and feet got mixed reviews from our readers, so what do you think about this innovation? Helpful or just strange?
Well, at first we were a bit puzzled- we assumed you'd have to empty the bag of all your stuff before converting it into the seat. But if you follow the Step by Step instructions on their website, it looks like you can just leave everything in it when you place it on the chair.
Then you just open up the built-in backrest, attach the straps around the chair and buckle your child in with the safety belt.
What do you think? Are there times when this would be worth having?

This is our diaper bag -- it's great!!
Can't say enough great things about it -- it is particularly useful here in Europe where few restaurants have booster seats (sometimes IKEA Antilop armchairs, but rarely boosters).
We've used it everywhere -- in Paris, in Prague, at friends' houses...
it is an awesome multi-purpose item -- much, much handier than the folding booster seat we were thinking of buying!

I'm not sure I would love this. My son is just now getting into the booster-seat stage at 20 months old, but we quit hauling the diaper bag nearly a year ago. The two needs (diaper bag and booster seat), for us, don't overlap very much.

I think it has potential, but for me personally, I dislike bulky diaper bags and keep mine to bare necessities. I don't think this system would work for me, but hey, if people buy it and it works for them, rock on.
