Tatamia High Chair by Peg Perego

Later this summer, the new Tatamia high chair by Peg Perego will be available for purchase. The Tatamia looks like it has a very comfortable seat and has 9 height levels for children in a large range of ages. But what else is the Tatamia besides a high chair?

The Tatamia is also a comfortable reclining chair for young babies who cannot yet sit. More than that, the Tatamia can easily be converted into a baby swing. As a high chair, you can remove the tray and pull baby right up to the dining table. And if company is coming over, you can easily fold up the Tatamia and store it away. You can find out more here and pre-order here.

I find this quite unattractive. It looks like it is designed by the guy who made R2D2.

Almost $300 for a bunch of R2D2-looking plastic? The Svan and Stokke are much better looking and have lots of seating options. And I'm not sure why a high chair needs to recline.

I don't like it and it looks like if food drops under the chair, it would be hard to clean.

I agree, I think it's really, really ugly.
