Wow, I love this! It certainly creative and would be a great project for a woodworking parent to make for their baseball-loving boy or girl. It's baseball themed enough that the bed and the child's trophies would be all you need.

Why the negative votes? Remember, you're looking at a childs' room. At least it isn't one of those horrendous baseball mitt ceiling fans. There is no baseball wallpaper, home run patterned rug, or a baseball mitt phone or alarm clock. There are some truly horrible baseball themed products out there, this is just an adaption of a very classic spindle bed design.

If you have a child that loves baseball and can afford a short-time use bed, this is great! I'd prefer if all the bats were one stain though. My only concern would be that it doesn't grow up with the child too much. I'd prefer a more classic bed that they can continue to use into adulthood, and adding the touches of baseball in other ways.

Even though I live two miles away from the Louisville Slugger factory/museum, I agree with Zaya...
