Cariboo's Kiwi Cot Crib, $1559.95, converts from a crib to a toddler bed to a daybed/sofa. Available in dark and light wood and made with sustainable Radiata timber. This is definitely a piece that will grow with your child and stick around for years. What do you think?
I like it, but I think it would be more useful if it converted into a full-size bed (or just a headboard) instead of a sofa. The sofa just doesn't seem like it would get used all that much as it's quite small and it doesn't look terribly comfortable. For that amount of money, a full-size bed would be a more practical option.
My baby's crib doesn't transform into anything other than a toddler bed, if we buy the very expensive kit (and we're not sure if we're going to.) I do like the idea of cribs that are multi-functional, but only if it's something that will be used. I think it's better to buy a crib that you really like and which works the best in your nursery.

Looks cute and functional!

I voted not simply because of the price. Ridiculously high for a child, although it is pretty.

I voted not because it is too expensive and ugly! To do the conversions, you have to buy 2 conversion kits at $300 each in addition to the initial $1500 price tag. The Stokke Sleepi is a way better deal (over $500 cheaper for the crib) and better looking too. It can be converted to a toddler bed (with no additional kit), a junior bed (for $159 and can be used until age 7), and then it can be split and made into 2 chairs (all you need is the chair cushions). It is amazing! Obviously, I have the Sleepi crib and love it! However, I will admit it is still at a high price point for some people for a crib, but it can be used for many years.

Definitely hot! I've never been one for cots masquerading as couches, but I do love how the toddler bed on this one looks.
I tried desperately to buy this cot late last year while setting up our nursery as we also have a Cariboo bassinet & change table which would have matched perfectly. Alas, although I waited till my 9th month of pregnancy hoping to order it, no store would ship it in time and I ended up with a functional cot that lacks the style of this one.

I answered NOT because I hate how high the headboard is in toddler bed mode. It isn't bad in couch style though.

I think its super cute. I am cheap and would not pay much for this bed though. I would pay max 500 for something like this.
