Designed in 2006 by Czech designer Maxim Velcovský, the Little Joseph candle holder is a quirky conversation piece. Little Joseph's head "grows" a different hairstyle with every candle you light up.

Oh come on. First, a doll head is creepy. Then, a doll head perforated with a candel is creepy. But then, a candle melted untop of a doll head...??

Is it Halloween yet?

Too creepy. And that's only with a white candle. Creepier yet if one used green or red...Ugh.

haha.. I sent the link to a gf a couple of weeks ago. She has a fear of baby dolls and pretty much anything to do w/fake babies. She said these gave her nightmares.

that makes me think of something you would find in a junk shop or a flea market.

I thought it was interesting... not $100 interesting, but interesting all the same.

This reminds me of my classmate's art concentration -- grotesque and disfigured dolls.

Yeah I gotta say this is quite creepy... maybe if it was painted... and there was a way so the wax wouldn't drip across it's face? Wouldn't really call it a fashionable new "haircut" with the wax dripping down it's face! I think the whole idea is just weird.

Melted candle wax on a doll's face... Exactly what I see in a disturbed person's cave or something out of CSI.

Oh come on, people, where's your sense of humor? Sure, not everyone wants a house that looks like Disney's haunted mansion, but an eccentric little piece like this in an otherwise 'normal' room will NOT make your place look like CSI or a serial killer's home. Eesh, lighten up.

My vote is 'Hot! Creepy!'

Not a fan of dolls and definitely not a fan of their heads glowing by the candlelight! Congrats to the artist if he is making $100 per... just crazy...

I have something similar in my yard. Got it back in 2002 or 2003 from an art student. It has received all of the above comments and more. My daughter likes to give it offerings. It also makes a really good hose guide. I did get creeped out one day when a neighbor decided to stick a doll's arm next to it, coming up out of the dirt. He found it highly amusing.
