Hot or Not: Table Upon Table High Chair

table-upon-table-highchair.jpgIt's a table! No, it's a chair! No, it's a table! Wait, it's a... high chair? You have to give designer Richard Hutten (the man behind the Dombo cup) credit. Whatever it is, his cutaway Table Upon Table High Chair is definitely inventive. What do you think? Art for art's sake, or would you actually love one of these in your home?

The price tag is $2,995. No thanks. We could make one in our garage, and we've been looking for a reason to keep our circular saw.

actually that looks very top heavy and unstable with a child in it. Wouldn't the base need to be bigger?

weird, but fun. I see it being more used in a museum than the common home. I like a small highchair that sits on a reg chair, can be removed or used as a booster. Not as cool, but takes up less space and used for only $11.

But hey, if you feel like making your own, more power to you! A way to repurpose those side tables hanging in the attic.
