How To: Make a Basket out of Newspaper

You know all of those cool recycled newspaper baskets that have shown up in recent years? Now you can recycle your own newspapers and get a really cool storage piece out of it.

You can try this project with the kids next week after you finish the Sunday Times. All you need is the newspaper, craft glue, stapler, and some ribbon to add a little embellishment to the design.

We found the complete, and we emphasize, quite simple- tutorial over at Craft Stylish. This would make a good spot for the recycling or maybe art supplies or paper for the kids. To avoid smudging, you might want to add an extra step and spray some kind of sealant on it.
