Have you been enjoying the deluge of DIY play kitchens featured on Ohdeedoh? We enjoy seeing them as well. Here is one more good for those of us who are lacking in the carpentry department.

Here's a list of items you'll need:

  • one round end table with bottom shelf

  • one round table cloth

  • various colored Sharpies

  • pipe cleaners

  • white cloth tape you use for bandaging with gauze

  • scissors (regular and pinking shears if you have them)

  • 1/2″ elastic (about a yard should do but measure your table first)

  • Assorted dishes to trace around
  • This is a great project to undertake that doesn't require a lot of preparation. You probably have most if not all of the items, or suitable substitutes, in the house already. Detailed directions available here.

I love this! I have been trying to figure out how to make a play kitchen for my little sisters to play with when they visit. This is perfect because I can fold it up small and store it when they leave!
