You'll need some ping pong or wiffle balls, velcro (circle shape is recommended), and a pair of cheap knit gloves. We've got several single gloves laying around so no need to buy anything new. Just affix the velcro circles to the balls, put on a glove and start throwing. Each player wears just one glove. We love this idea and think it could work with a variety of ages.

OMG! this is genius! simple enough that even the kids can put it together themselves. balls (even if wiffle or of the ping-pong variety) still make me a bit nervous indoors. our kitchen is smack dab in the middle of our indoor space and i can just see one of those things floating and then quickly melting in my dutch oven mid-soup.
