How To: Blythe Doll Knitting Patterns at Knitty

knitty-blythedoll-patterns.jpgWe love perusing the archives of Knitty, because there's always some great gem we might have missed. The Spring 2005 issue featured some adorable coat, skirt, dress and sweater patterns for one lucky little lady -- Blythe!

The beautiful Silk Coat is an advanced project which, while is basically a stockinette stitch, does require familiarity with knitting armholes. To go with Blythe's Silk Coat, is the Rockstar scarf, a fun beginner's project which Knitty also offers the pattern to make one in your size!

We also love the tiny tank top, which we made in no time. A simple pattern which delivers a lot of cuteness. The skirt, was bit more complicated so we're still working on that one. It'll take us a while.

Whether you are knitting these items for your own Blythe doll or your child's, the results are just precious.
