How To: Build a Lego Table

lego-table.jpgWe love a good hack. What can we say? We like what we like the way we like it. We also have an abiding passion for Lego. So when we spotted this project to convert a plain old Ikea Ingo table, a few Trofast buckets, and some Lego base plates into an enviable Lego workstation, we were hooked.

lego-table-2.jpgThis table is billed as a weekend project over at Ikea Hacker, or even an afternoon project, depending on your tool skills. (In our case, it might take an afternoon just to assemble the table.)

The design is flexible enough to allow you to adapt the size and number of buckets, as well as the configuration of the buckets and base plates, but if you want to copy the prototype exactly, detailed measurements are provided.
