How To: Halloween Votives

2008-10-20-votives2.jpg

Cindy of Skip To My Lou made these easy Halloween votives from baby food jars with her 3-year old daughter. They're a great project for kids too young for pumpkin carving and also a clever and festive way of getting some more mileage from glass jars before they head to the recycling plant.

You probably have most of the supplies already hanging around the house: white tissue paper, crepe paper, Modge Podge (or glue), a foam brush and glass jars.

Visit Skip To My Lou for instructions and more photos. Cindy has more great Halloween posts: How to "BOO" your Neighbors and Paper Ghost Garlands for starters.
