How To: Knitted Nigiri

2007-03-24-nigiri.jpg

We're impressed with the artisans and crafters making quality and attractive toys for kids these days. While we're decidedly on the buyer/consumer end of the spectrum, we are sure there are at least a few of you who could do-it-yourself.

So we were thinking of you when we came across this knitted nigiri project on Mag Knits.

The site offers detailed instructions for knitting the rolls and nigiri pictured above. Apparently, on the difficulty scale, this one is simple.

Don't forget the pickled ginger and the dab of wasabi. All instructions can be found here. Definitely share your experience and a photo if you take on this project!
