How To: Make a Mini Framed Magnetic Board

100209magneticboard.jpgInstead of your traditional bulletin board, you could make a bunch of these and hang them together for a unique display. You need a few old frames minus the glass, some magnet board, and some fabric.

The tutorial here includes painting the frame and ironing the fabric, but this is a really simple project. We like the idea of changing up the fabric to match the seasons or even making a larger frame and calling it a season board.

This is just what I've been looking for! We don't have a fridge that you can put magnets on (it's stainless steel), so I wanted to do something like this so my son can play with his magnetic alphabet letters. Great idea!

As far as kids go, cookie sheets with fabric covers (so there pretty). also fun if you maginitc animals or people, cause you can do blue on top, green on the bottom. My preschoolers play with these all the time
