Of course, it's no surprise that these fantastic instructions showed up at the uber-craft blog Sew, Mama, Sew. What's even better is that no sewing is required! Instead, the teepee relies on grommets for its stability. (Having used grommets on projects ourselves, we can vouch for the fact that creating them is quite do-able).

Materials also include bamboo garden posts (available at any garden center), white painter's canvas, craft paint, rubber bands, and ribbon for lacing. We also like the idea of using leather lacing, which you can find at craft stores, instead of ribbon.
