How To: Make Fabric Switch Plates

Switch your switch plate. Sometimes adorning the smallest things can make a difference. Switch plates usually blend right in with the wall, but adding a little fabric or paper can give your room a punch.

Over at Craftster, bubba*tink made a slew of them.

She simply used spray adhesive to adhere the fabric to the plate. She also brushed mod-podge over them for a glossy finish, but you could skip that if you want a more natural look.

Go with fabric, much neater results, less creasing.
