How To: Shape Book

howtoshapebook-PIC1.jpgWe found this project over at Cheeky Magpie's Web site, and think it's a great way to repurpose old paperback books. The result is a gorgeous, fun DIY accent to your child's room.

The Shape Book Tute is as simple to make as it is great to look at.

I'm never a fan of destroying books, even for art's sake.

Oh, good grief. I definitely have an old copy of a treasured book that I've read so many times that it's falling apart that would be perfect for this. I can't make myself throw it away, but it's not terribly useful. I think I'll do this and free myself to buy a fresh copy.
