Quintessential fall. It's apple season and Molly of MommyCoddle and her daughters are celebrating them by making homemade applesauce and lovely apple prints.

They've stamped on linen, but you could use cotton fabric, twill, paper or even t-shirts. Molly writes that her girls "went crazy when they lifted up that apple to see the first print underneath." Beautiful!
The folks at Martha Stewart used apple prints on canvas bags and book covers.

They recommend using a stamp pad or fabric paint (read more here.)
You don't have to stop at apples - give pears, lemons, limes, oranges a try.
Did you know that the cut-off "stump" of celery makes a lovely rose stamp??

melissa...thanks for the tip. I've been wanting to put a rose design on one of the walls in my daughters' room, but stencils look too country and blik looks too mod...I think the celery idea will be perfect!
