Eat off your art. We were admiring this gallery of artist-drawn plates at The Wurst Gallery and saw that we could make our own, undoubtedly less artistic, versions with the Make a Plate kit.

For $15, you receive 10 washable markers and 5 sheets of special paper for you or your kids to draw on. Choose your favorite design and mail it back to the company in their pre-addressed envelope and in about 10 days your 10" plastic plate (dishwasher safe) will be returned to you.

If you want more of your designs turned into plates, you can pay an additional fee. Order your Make a Plate kit from the The Wurst Gallery shop.

Oh my older sister did these in elementary class for a Mother's Day project. I so envied those plates. I'm glad to see you can do them again.
