Spring cleaning has left us with a pile of too-small baby clothes. We'll be reusing most of it, giving away some but would like to hold on to a few special items. Rather than pack it away again, we saw this great idea for making pillows from t-shirts at our sister site AT-thekitchn.
Because baby clothes are much smaller, we'll need to use extra fabric to make a whole pillow (or make teensy pillows). But we like the idea of reusing the fabric and patterns to turn them into something we can see and enjoy on a daily basis.
Has anyone done this or something similar with their baby's clothes?

My sister in law is using the clothes her daughters have outgrown and is making a quilt out of them.
But in a total dimwitted move, she is not having the second daughter wear them, they each have their own clothes that she is cutting up.
They are 2 years apart, less ONE DAY!!
