Martha Stewart How To: Snow Globes

marthasnowglobesHOWTO.jpg

We took a stroll down memory lane when we saw these snow globes on Martha Stewart's Living. We made one just like this in the fourth grade and were reminded how easy and fun they were to make.

To make the snow globes, you'll need some baby food jars, epoxy, glitter, glycerin and some holiday figurines and knick-knacks. It's as easy as gluing the figurines to the inside of the jar lid, adding water, glycerin and glitter and then closing the jar.

It's easy enough for toddlers and preschoolers to make, but still engaging enough to keep the older ones interested.

Perfect timing!
I have a bunch of jars and was about to go hunting for the "how to" on this project. Thanks!
