Reader Project: Scalloped Fabric Garland

scalloped-buntingTOPPIC.jpgOhdeedoh reader, Jessie, sent us a picture of a great project she worked on. We love her great interpretation on the classic banner...

She tells us, "I've been collecting vintage sheets for a long time, and they just seem so wonderfully summery and airy. As we approach the last days of summer, I was inspired to create a tailored version of the popular fabric bunting we all know and love for my daughter's room. Each garland is nine feet long and features twelve double sided scallops, each made with a different piece of vintage sheeting."

The garland is double-sided which means they can be hung at any angle and still appear just as lovely. Thank you for sharing, Jessie.

We love seeing your projects! Do you have a great one you'd like to share? Please e-mail us: nursery at apartmenttherapy dot com.
