What we love about this idea is that it lets kids do the actual work of changing the display, rather than relying on you to fuss with traditional glass frames. It's also in keeping with the casual nature of children's creative process. They rarely get too precious about making every art piece an heirloom (which, let's admit it, we're prone to do).

To recreate this idea in your own home, just keep the mats that come with most store-bought frames. Nicole and Colin fixed theirs to the wall using tacks, but you could also use velcro tape (available in many craft and sewing stores) for younger children.
