We couldn't help but notice the unusual designs at the Straight Line Designs booth. They're definitely not for the practical. Do you think you could find a place for them? The above dresser is one of their latest designs and is called the Oops! Cabinet.

This one's called the "Bad Table." .

Here you have the "Cracked Dresser" .
Straight Line Designs is based in Vancouver. They do custom furniture, so if you're looking for something you just wouldn't find in the store, even if these more funky pieces aren't for you, you might want to contact them.
whoa! interesting! they look like they walked off the set of a tim burton movie. original, but not something i would purchase.

I visited their site and found several pieces that I love! There's no way I could ever afford their furniture, but I love the creativity. I've never seen anything like it.

If this piece were in my house I would be constantly haunted by the missing chunk. It would bug the heck outta me. I don't consider myself old-fashioned but I like my dressers complete.

These would look awesome in a kids room. I stumbled upon them when I was planning an Alice in Wonderland room for the kid and thought they were perfect. Erm, except for the price. I'm kind of a cheapskate anyway.

When I first saw the Oops cabinet, I thought that hole was a mirror! I bet that's even more impractical.
