Before and After: Julianna's Winning Room

2008-11-05-jen1.jpg

Did you catch the Winners of our Kids' Color Contest 2008? Julianna's Rainbow Room came out on top for the fantastic use of color Mama Jenny came up with. Did you know we posted about Jenny's plan for Julianna's nursery room before? Click below for a BEFORE shot of the fabulous nursery...

She created this cool mock-up of the nursery before ever setting paintbrush to the wall. As wonderful as this mock-up is, we think the stunning use of color in the real thing blows it out of the water.

Congratulations to Jenny and all of our winners and everyone who entered. We thoroughly enjoyed peaking into everyone's fantastic nurseries.

Are those stacking turquoise footstools? Where'd you find those?

Yes, the are stacking footstools. They were my grandmother's. I've seen similar retro footstools on eBay - you might take a look there from time to time.

Well, I love the furniture, That lovely white leather chair really surprised me on just how it brightens up the room.

Well done, I love it! Clean, organized, great colors, interesting pictures and furniture. I imagine a very happy and creative child growing up in that room. It's a winner!
