More progress. We're checking back in with Becky + Andrew this week to see how the nursery is coming along.

Lucky Wee-Tot has a new changing table with dresser drawers for all her clothes and supplies. Here's Becky + Andrew's story on the changing table:

Well, work and life have gotten in the way of work on the baby's room, so it has been a long time since we have had an update regarding our progress. Some early contractions and a visit to the hospital (all is fine!) kicked us into high gear, however, and we spent the past two weekends..."

...painting an old dresser. I bought it for $20 at a yard sale 10 years ago, and it is very sturdy and well made.

We've been trying to repurpose and reuse whereever possible -- not only to save money, but to avoid having to put old furniture in our storage space! I had painted it black once, but we wanted something cheerful.

We started off painting it orange but decided it clashed with the wall, so changed to white. With its drips and all, it is no masterpiece (Burton - do not look closely), but the Wee-Tot will not notice, and it was a labor of love! Next week we'll finish the crib and tackle the wall unit!
