Firetruck Bed from Not So Big
Ohdeedoh in Europe - Paris

lit-pompier.jpgThe lit pompier (firetruck bed) from French company Not So Big is made for kids aged 2 to 8.

It has built-in storage up front and is a fanciful statement piece for the youngster who wants to grow up to be a fireman (although your child may outgrow the dream before the bed).

That's actually rather good looking. I usually don't like firetruck (or boat or train or car or...) beds for kids, though if mine wanted one, I doubt I'd say no.

Just checked that etailer, and the bed is almost 800 euros. Just looking at the frame, I bet crafty people could make one exactly like it for much, much less, and paint it with non-VOC paint.
