Framed Chalkboard

It looks like the chalkboard craze isn't going away anytime soon. If you want to include a chalkboard somewhere in the house for the kids but want something more formal looking, consider this.

i just painted a chalkboard on my den wall. I know everyone and their sister has done it but I love it and my daughter has spent hours at a time doodling on it. I love the frame for this one, but i don't know how sturdy a framed chalkboard would be for children unless it was drilled directly into the wall; more of an adult or teen chalkboard

I did this for my toddler. I painted the wall with chalkboard paint and hung an empty frame over it so it would not be dangerous.
