Get Funky Photos with befunky

For once, clicking on an online pop-up ad had a good outcome. We saw the phrase "cartoonify yourself" and couldn't resist clicking. It took us to befunky a website that, among other effects, will "cartoonify" your photos with just one click.

Simply upload a photo and choose one of nine effects to (with several variations within each) which befunky then applies to your photo which you then save to your computer. We think these photo alterations would be fun for holiday cards, invitations, framing (it will take longer, but you can use images with a high enough resolution to print photo quality) and even making a custom cartoon for your child. You can also have your image put on mugs, tshirts and such directly from their site. What other ideas can you think of?

Try it yourself at befunky.

After reading your post I made a pretty cute photo of my kids on this site and shared it on my facebook. Then my smarter-than-me friend pointed out the user agreement I apparently agreed to...

"By posting messages, uploading files, inputting data, or engaging in any other form of communication through the Site, you grant us a royalty-free, perpetual, non-exclusive, unrestricted, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, enhance, transmit, distribute, publicly perform, display, or sublicense any such communication (including your identity and information about you) in any medium (now in existence or hereinafter developed) and for any purpose, including commercial purposes, and to authorize others to do so."

great...

Yeah, that baby in the first photo looks like a creepy elf! Not cute at all. Probably a cute baby in real life.
