apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

Henry Road Pillows

2007.04.05.nursery.henryroad1.jpgGood textiles can inspire a whole room, and we certainly know lots of parents who chose their crib bedding first, and then designed the rest of their nursery around that.

Henry Road textiles, designed by South African designer Paula Smail, are beautiful enough to inspire a nursery design, or to complement an existing room.

We love the Daisy pattern, both above, in orange, and below. In two sizes, 18x18 ($75) and also 14x18 ($65), and seven colours, this simple design looks like a great way to add a little colour into a room.

We saw Henry Road in a recent issue of Cottage Living, and in the interview, Paula says that she hopes to do a line of fabrics sold by the yard. After seeing her pillows, we hope this is the case!

Below, a few more of her patterns.
