We spotted this painted floor in a Pottery Barn Kids catalog that arrived the other day and liked the use of the floor as a bold color statement. We might choose colors other than these primary ones, but the basic concept is appealing.

It's also a great way to cover damaged floors especially those you might find when you uproot carpeting.
