She's chosen to display a vintage photo in a classic canning jar, but you could make it more modern if you like with color photos and a variety of jars, glasses or vases. We think a series of family jar photos would look great lined up on a shelf in the kitchen (reminiscent of Teeny Little Super Guy). We also like how easy it would be to swap out photos, perhaps seasonally
