Look! Toys in the Living Room

We love when design is organic like this: When a visiting relative needed to stay in her son's room, Not Your Goddess wound up temporarily taking some of his toys out to the living room- but the arrangement worked so well, it became permanent.

We absolutely keep the kids toys and books in the liv. room. It is, as the name implies, where we do all our living, and I can watch them while I prep the meals. I love it. Now to get it as pretty as this picture...

love this but don't think it could last long with our 14 month old. now if there were affordable montessori style baby tables... hmm.
