Maya's Playhouse

If you're lucky enough to have one, a playhouse is a wonderful thing. It's a separate space for children to experiment with their growing sense of independence - and of course, it's just plain fun to play in. With a gorgeous kitchen, a cozy reading corner, and even a cute little mailbox, Maya's playhouse is an inspiring illustration of how to repurpose flea market finds and gifted items into a lovely space.

We're not at all surprised that Maya's playhouse is such a magical space. In addition to being a prolific blogger, her mom Lotta is an ardent crafter, bringing her Swedish sensibility to both her craft projects and to her beautiful photography, which she sells through her Etsy shop MayaLee.

how sweet! i love the kitcheny wall - it looks like an easy way to create a 'play kitchen' even if you don't have a play house.

Fabulous! Love the mailbox idea, too...you could have a lot of fun sending "mail."
