Nordic Inspiration from Jujubooks

There's something a bit Where the Wild Things Are about this room and it's definitely making us want to swing on some vines. The room appears in a Finnish book of imaginative home ideas for children called Maja that, from what we can see online, provides lots of unique inspiration infused with Nordic charm.

How about this clever dishtowel tablecloth (and hiding spot for giggly girls)? We especially like some of the novel kids' costume ideas. There are also decor ideas, sewing ideas, uses for old objects, and ideas for games to make. The authors, Mari and Kati, have also published Juju with patterns and ideas for making children's clothes. See more photos from these books and find ordering information at Jujubooks.

I love the vines, but boo to the headdress hanging on the wall. :(
