Origami Paper Covered Eggs

This Easter try a sophisticated, Asian-inspired technique when decorating eggs. Who else but Martha would show us such a great idea? You'll need some blown-out eggs or wooden craft eggs. Jump below to see what else you'll need.

Gather a pair of small scissors, a small paint brush, Mod Podge and the best looking origami paper you can find. Cut a rectangle a bit larger than the egg, fold the paper in half lengthwise and then cut 1/4" strips stopping 1/4" from the fold. Brush the unprinted side of paper with Mod Podge and wrap around egg. Then proceed to brush cut strips with Mod Podge, pressing gently against egg.
