Reader Project: DIY Roulotte

More power to you if you were blessed with awesome DIY skills! Erika sent us an e-mail, "We have made a roulotte (gypsy caravan) for our two daughters in our garden. It was really great working together on this project that we build using almost only materials that where recycled/found/given." All we have to say is WOW!

The outside of the roulotte features a great little deck and flowers, while the inside is a magical space resplendent with cushions, curtains and a play kitchen. Erika adds, "The living room, we made a bench with two compartments for storing their toys, the cushions are made from vintage scarfs and we added a patchwork curtain to create a little bedroom." So lovely!

And Erika's creativity doesn't end at the garden, she is also responsible for the great design in her daughter's room of which we were privy to in Sofia and Mila's Magical Space room tour.

To view these photos and more of the roulotte, please visit Erika's Web site. Thank you for sharing, Erika!
