Scrap Bags

2008-04-28-posie.jpg

These are scraps worth fighting over. We spotted these beautiful bags over at Posie Gets Cozy and thought they would be great for making or finishing off projects in a kids' room or playroom.

We know many of you in the Ohdeedoh community are crafters, so if you've got a great project idea for fabric scraps, please share with everyone.

Incidentally, check back in with Alicia; she may have more calico scaps in the future.

Oh, if someone wants to buy MY scraps I will be more than willing to sell them too... anyway, here are a few great ideas for fabric scraps. I made the "festive bunting" and it turns out great the more varied your remnants are.

And if your scraps are rather big, consider this clever cape:

I have yet to try this one, Kid's Art T-shirts, loots a little involved, but pretty cute:

I also made this soft infant grabbing ball, be sure you put a bell/noisemaker inside and it is more appealing to baby if you use different types of material (chenille, flannel, etc.) in vibrant patterns.
