Tauntaun Sleeping Bag

tauntaun-bag.jpgIt's an icy night on the planet Hoth and all you have to keep you warm is your toasty tauntaun carcass. What Star Wars fan wouldn't go bonkers for the tauntaun sleeping -- a great homage to the classic Han/Luke/Hoth scene.

Unfortunately, this product isn't available as it was featured as an April Fool's joke on Think Geek. But darn it all if we didn't wish it were real. How cool is this sleeping bag? And apparently, the response from this gag has been so overwhelming that the folks at Think Geek are actually trying to make it a real item.

Until then, we'll have to pine for it. Still, we think we might give it a stab and try to make one ourselves. Have any of you attempted to create your own tauntaun sleeping bag?

Hello Alex,

My wife feel in love with a room you posted on back in 2007. The link is http://www.ohdeedoh.com/ohdeedoh/nursery-colors-2007-entries/15-rowens-urban-safari-035086

My wife loves that room!! She has been trying to find that rug for weeks and has had no luck. The links posted in the comment sections led us to retailers who no longer sell this rug. Do you have any idea of who manufactures it or any idea of another retailer? Any information you could provide would be great!!!

Thank you so much!
Steve
