Design from Hong Kong: Drummond Kids

Hong Kong based Drummond, has rolled Mid Century and Modern together into an amazing line of kids furniture. Wires and clean lines keep the pieces light, while still feeling like they would last for years to come. We'd be lying if we didn't say our jaws weren't open for an unflattering amount of time while checking out their collection! Our favorites are after the jump...

Drummond makes several different lines of kids furniture. The first is Cowda, which features their metal pieces. The next is Fluffy Donkey, which contains their brightly colored wooden pieces and the last is Forest Family Nursery, which is full of bright white nursery furniture.

Sadly we haven't found a US retailer for them yet, although we're betting you could email for pricing and shipping requests via their website!

They also have a fantastic line of outdoor furniture for adults as well as lighting and birdfeeders. It's a company well worth keeping an eye on in the months to come as we're sure you'll start seeing it around more often!

Awesome find! Can't wait to see these things find their way to US retailers.

You probably haven't found a US retailer, because it doesn't look like their furniture meets our safety standards for young children. it's not just about crib slats, either - anytime you have slatted furniture that might be used by a young child, you should make sure that i meets the same safety standard required of cribs.
