Williams-Sonoma Kids' Halloween Party Tips

williams-sonoma-partytips.jpgA party with a house full of children can be downright scary -- and we're not even talking about the Halloween factor, either. If you're brave enough to host a kids' halloween party, we love the great tips the Williams-Sonoma site offers.

Simple is the best route, and while these tips may involve few steps the impact is great.

  • For party invitations, WS suggests making having kids trace cookie cutters on orange construction papers and then writing information with glitter pens.
  • For decoration, orange and black paper chains will do the trick.
  • The table setting can feature jack o’lantern paper plates made from black and orange plates.

As for the food, WS recommends Halloween sugar cookies, popcorn balls and ants on a log. There is even a caramel apple video tutorial on the site as well as recipes for the aforementioned caramel apples, popcorn ghosts, and Blood-Red Punch.

I am super excited for this year's Halloween. In fact, I already have a costume ordered up for my niece. It's this cute little Princess Leia costume that is absolutely adorable!. I got it from http://babycostumesusa.com/.
