Ohdeedoh Kids' Color Contest
Entry #26: Lemon Twist

2008-11-03-binny3.jpg

Name: Johanna
Location: Connecticut
Children: Casimir and Casper, 4 months old

Inspiration: My twins needed a great and bright room that was different from the usual blue baby boy motifs. I wanted something inspired and something that could incorporate my husband's old baby items, as well as be updated and modern.

Tip for Using Color: Use color! Even modern and updated colors are great for children. Many parents feel they need to stick to pink and blue, but there are so many colors beyond that!

Colors Used:: Sherwin Williams "Lemon Twist"

i love the bedding, stripes and rug but the art seems too dull and neutral for the space. (just my opinion.)

There's a similar rug from Pottery Barn called "Moorish Tile Rug" in clementine orange. I hope this helps!

Love the nursery. I'm curious about the boys' names--doesn't everyone recommend non-matching names these days? Matching names mostly seem fun for the parents, not for the kids (speaking as a twin here).
