Ohdeedoh Kids' Color Contest
Entry #29: Carmen's Colorful & Cozy Quarters

carmenPIC1.jpg

Name: Shelby
Location: Portland, Oregon
Children: Carmen, 7

Inspiration: The colors & design were inspired by a fun & colorful hand-me-down quilt in tropical fabrics and a piece of bamboo-framed art done by a friend. It's a teeny bedroom but we went with a bright pink paint (mis-tint at the store!) on the window wall and a butter yellow on the other walls.

Inspiration continued:
The dog-bone desk was made recently by her daddy (he attached Ikea legs) and she loves it!

Tip for Using Color:
DO use color--in paint, fabrics, artwork & accessories!

Colors Used:
Devine Butter and Miller Paint--hot pink (mistint)
