2007 Color Contest Winner: Sam's Chocolate Crash Pad

Here we go...ready, set, color! Over the next few weeks we hope to show off some wonderful, colorful kids' rooms from all of you and award three amazing prizes from Argington. From babies nurseries to teens rooms, from tiny single kid spaces to big, shared accomodations - kids' rooms of any size are welcome...color is the key!

WHAT: Our Annual Ohdeedoh Kids Color Contest is a contest for kids room color lovers. We're looking for the most beautiful use of color in a nursery or childrens room.

WHY: Color is a big part of childhood and design for children as well as the one of the easiest ways to change a room, but not everyone feels comfortable using it. To inspire confidence, we're going to share your photos of great, colorful kids rooms, along with your tips and inspirations.

PRIZES!: Thanks to Argington

First Place: Sahara Crib

Second Place: Petra Toddler Bed (shown above)

Third Place Giza Table and Two Chairs

Starting now and running through November 2, we'll be accepting entries that will consist of three good quality digital photos of the colorful kids room, the inspiration behind your color choices and two good color tips to share.

If you are thinking about joining us, jump right in - go ahead and snap a few great photos and attach them to the entry form below. We're looking forward to sharing your beautiful, colorful room with the Ohdeedoh community.

You specify "nursery or children's room." Does it have to be a sleeping space or "bedroom" or can it be a play space?

Are you no longer posting entries? All the voting is closed and nothing has been posted since last Friday. I sent my entry in the day after the contest opened & received a confirmation it was received, but it was never up. I really hope it isn't over - doesn't seem fair if it is that some of us who entered weren't given a chance.

Our schedule means that we have a limited number of entries we can post, therefore, we do receive more entries during contest submission periods than we publish to the site.
