Designed by Tord Boontje, for Artecnica, the Garland Light marries the delicate flower with sturdy metal. A continuous strand of metal is wrapped around the lightbulb, creating a cocoon of ethereal design.

Avaiable in silver plated, brass, black chrome and white, we think the price of $75 is certainly a bargain for something this unusual. If you're feeling extra luxurious, a limited edition gold plated version is also available, $627. The strands can be arranged and manipulated several different ways creating your very own lamp.

I bought this for my daughter's room. While lovely, you really need more than 1 to make it look like any of the pictures I have ever seen on any website (or Real Simple- where I originally found it). Plus, since I have only one strand, the bare light bulb is very noticeable. It really isn't as amazing as I thought it was going to be.
