Why are owls so popular these days? We see them showing up on textiles, jewelry, and wall decals. Well, the reason why isn't as important- we love them all (Well, most of them). And the other day, while perusing in Brooklyn's Cog and Pearl , we came across another owl item we thought you might enjoy.
The company that makes the nightlight that caught our eye is called Happy Owl Glassworks. Each nightlight is handmade of fused glass and mounted onto a nightlight. It's probably the sea-green color of the glass with a hint of red for the branch the little guy rests on that got us. The best thing- the nightlight is on sale right now for $30.
You might also be interested in the company's print selection. They're on sale now for $9 each- illustrations of animals are handprinted on archival cardstock- a great addition to your nursery or child's room.

I think of the old adage "wise old owl" when I see owls. They symbolize wisdom to me! And they're quirky and kinda groovy, which qualities are good in my book.
