The portable nightlight. Okay, we're not saying we were scared of the dark, but it's very common (especially if you grew up in a big, creaky house like someone we know). Similar to the Candeloo, the TykeLight can be your child's nighttime buddy. Leave it in its cradle to charge and then the ambient light will last up to 10 hours.
The Tykelight can rest by your child's bedside as a nightlight or accompany them on late night trips to the bathroom or mom and dad's room. It's safe around children of any age and has no exposed contacts.
The TykeLight is sold by
Target for $20 and is available in green, blue, yellow, orange, purple and pink.

We keep the nursery very dark at night and this provides the perfect amount of light to check on our son.

Does anyone know the difference between the TykeLight Buddy and the TykeLight with Smart Timer?

This and the Candeloo are such great ideas. We have Candeloos in our toddler's room, and they're perfect because we can leave them on after we put him to bed, and it gives him just enough light to feel comfortable in his otherwise very dark room until he falls asleep. then they fade out after about five hours, giving him perfect darkness to sleep in.
Much as I love the Candeloos, I may get one or two of these as well. It's good to have back-up.

Candeloos suck !! Followed every instruction and my second set stopped working after one charge ! The first set did not even make it to the first charge. NEVER BUY CANDELOO ! And the customer service is just aweful.
Hope these ones work better.

That's really too bad, urboo. We've used ours every night for two years, and we've never had a problem. I'm so sorry yours haven't worked out.
