Explain how Amy Butler inspired this entry:
I have the hardest time deciding on just one Amy Butler fabric. A little slip cover like this one gives me the chance to use five fabrics in one project. Amy's use of scale is one of the things that inspires me to use her fabric for home decor projects for my daughter.

How did you make your project and what items did you use?: I made a paper pattern of the chair parts. Then I put it together in muslin to double check the fit. Made the pattern adjustments, and sewed the final slip cover. I underlined the seat and the seat back with fleece to give it a little cushion and some weight. I bought all of the fabrics at The Top Stitch, my local Amy Butler inspired fabric store.

Stunning. I love the mixed patterns.

I really love this slip cover! I have a chair that it would fit perfectly. Does anyone know how much fabric it took to make this?
