So you've finally selected the perfect birth announcement and you're getting ready to mail them only to find you are underwhelmed by the selection of postage stamps. Fear not, mid-century lover! Help is on the way.

 
 

The United States Postal Service is introducing a pane of 16 stamps featuring the designs of Charles and Ray Eames.

Among the classic icons depicted on the stamp, which was designed by Derry Noyes, include La Chaise, Hang-it-All, House of Cards and the Eames House.

Hooray! I hoarded a ton of Gee's Bend Quilt stamps a while back (yes, they're insufficient postage now)
I don't use snail mail a whole lot but these will be nice as an option when I do.
